Note:
The connection needs to be established just once in this way. It will
be recognised automatically every time the camera and remote control
are switched on subsequently.

The WiFi and remote control functions cannot be used at the same
time.
Using the camera as a webcam
The camera can also be used as a webcam. To do this, connect the camera
to the computer using the USB cable. The camera is turned on automatically
and will display two options: “Mass Storage” and “PC Camera”. Choose
“PC Camera”. Use the WiFi button to navigate and the capture button to
confirm.
Using the App
App download
Apps can be downloaded in the App Store (Apple) as well as from Google
Play (Android) using the keyword “MINOX ACX300”. Download and install
App.
Activate & connect WiFi
Turn on WiFi on the ACX 300 by pressing the WiFi button. Turn on WiFi in
your Smart Device. Go to WiFi settings in your Smart Device. Your camera
will appear with the preset SSID “WIFI_ACX300_XXXXXX”. The Password
is preset to „12345678“. Once the password has been entered the Smart
Device is connected with the ACX 300.
You can now remote control your camera by activating your App „MINOX
ACX300“. (For changing WiFi SSID of your camera or password please refer
to page 47.)
5. Data transfer
You can view videos and photos on your TV set. Connect the camera to the
TV using a micro HDMI cable in order to do this. Now, switch on the camera.
The TV screen will display the same picture as the camera‘s display. You can
navigate with the camera as usual. To switch off the camera, keep the main
button pressed down for 2 seconds.
Transferring data to a PC
Connect the camera with the PC using the USB cable provided in the prod-
uct contents. The camera is turned on automatically, and two options are
displayed: “Mass Storage” and “PC Camera”. Choose “Mass Storage” and
select the files you want to transfer onto the computer. Use the WiFi button
to navigate and the capture button to confirm.
