want to make a 1-sided copy of
each page of an open book.

Position the higher-numbered
page on the Original Width Scale
end.
If the book is thick, you can
make copies with the Original
Cover raised.
* "Book original" refers to an
open bound original.

Selecting the Book Copying Mode
•
Not positioning an open book
properly will result in copies with
pages in incorrect order.
•
Do not look directly at the
Original Glass surface, as a very
intense beam of light can be
emitted.
