FLASH
With this camera, the following 5 flash modes are available. You can select them
according to your purpose or condition.
AUTOFLASH
The flash fires automatically when the light
level is low or the subject is backlit.
FILL-FLASH
The flash fires every time a picture is taken
regardless of the light level or backlight.
Select this mode to reduce the harsh shadows
when you take the picture outdoor and the
subject’s face is shaded with a hat and so on.
FLASH CANCEL
The flash does not fire. Select this mode when
taking a picture in the place where the flash
photography is prohibited such as in a
museum, etc.
AUTOFLASH WITH RED-
EYE REDUCTION
The flash fires the short burst 2 times before
the main flash burst for reducing the red-eye
phenomenon. Select this mode when taking
the picture of people or animals in the dark.
FILL-FLASH WITH RED-EYE
REDUCTION
Flash Range
The flash range has the limit. Take pictures by referring to the flash range indicat-
ed below.
