Retracting the support arms
Ø
Remove all accessories from the e.hit
support arm.
Ø
Press and hold the operating button in the
motorhome rear garage to extend the
system.
Ø
Continue to hold the button down
throughout the entire manoeuvre.
Ø
Pay attention to the beeps:
•
Short beep – system is moving
•
Double beep – system has finished
retracting
Ø
Check that the lower housing cover has fully
retracted.

Maintenance and care
Ø
Make sure that the support arms and
particularly the connector for the e.base
power supply are free of dirt deposits.

ATTENTION!
Risk of damage due to improper cleaning!
High-pressure cleaners, scouring agents or
aggressive cleaning agents can damage the
carrier rack.
Ø
Clean the carrier rack using water and car
shampoo.

The carrier rack must be maintained as
follows:
Ø
Clean the carrier rack on a regular basis.
Ø
Remove salt and dirt after use in winter.
Ø
At regular intervals, spray the connector for
the e.base power supply with contact spray.
Do this after cleaning it each time, or at
least every two months.
