Press the “ ” key to move for the left the luminosity position of the main parameter,
adjusting the value corresponding.
Press the “ENTER” key to enter in the tolerance mode and confirm, and the “TOL”
symbol will be exhibited in the display. Press the “
” or “
” key to adjust the va
-
lue within tolerance. Press “ENTER” to confirm the tolerance configuration and the
element measurements. Press the “SORTING” key to leave of the tolerance mode
and return to the measure mode.
G. Calibration
The calibration can be used to reduce the distribution interference parameters brou
-
ght for the test cables of effective form, including short-circuit and opening circuit
modes. The short-circuit calibration can be performed to reduce the contact resis
-
tance influence and test wire resistance to measure low impedance objects. The
opening circuit calibration also can be performed to reduce the distributed capaci
-
tance influence and of the distributed resistance of the test cables and for the high
impedance measure components.
1. Entering in the calibration function: Press the “CAL” key for a while to enter in the
opening circuit calibration mode. The assistant display will exhibit “OPEN”. After
that, press “CAL” to start the calibration. The display will exhibit the regressive
count of 30s to 0s. After the count, the opening circuit calibration will be comple
-
ted.
Press the “CAL” key and the assistant display will exhibit “Srt” (figure 6). Short
-
-circuit the test leads and press the “CAL” key to start the short circuit calibration.
The display will exhibit “PASS” after the count of 30s to 0s showing the short circuit
calibration completion. Press the “CAL” key to return to the measure mode.
