Note: playing USB audio from Windows requires that the UAC driver package be installed first (page 22). 

5.3.1

 

Windows default audio device 

To set the HA-DSP as the default audio output device, open the Windows Control Panel and navigate to the 

Audio Devices section. On the Playback tab, select “HA

-

DSP” and click on the “Set Default” b

utton. 

 

To change the bit depth and sample rate, click on the Properties button and select the Advanced tab. Drop down 
the selection menu, choose the desired value and click OK. Select a sample rate up to 192 kHz. Note: Sample 
rates higher than 192 kHz are an artifact of DSD128 support. Do not select these for normal (PCM) playback.
