About pinch roller
• Do not move a pinch roller forcibly with the clamp lever down.
If it is moved frequently, stopper rubber which stops slippage to the right and left will be worn out and
the effect of the stopper will be reduced.
• For pinch rollers on both ends of the media, set them with keeping off the media
end (5mm or more).
• Be careful to the setting position of a pinch roller.
• About pressure switching lever and ON/OFF switching lever
As shown in the figure, dead space of 5mm at the
minimum is required outside of a pinch roller.
Printing/cutting width will be determined
depending on the position of pinch roller. If there
is no dead space, printing or cutting is performed
on outside of the media.

If a pinch roller is placed outside of the area indicated with the arrow, it
cannot hold the media.
Also, it will be an error during the detection operation.
Be sure to place a pinch roller within the area indicated with the arrow.
Do not switch manually the pressure switching
lever and the ON/OFF switching lever. It causes a
operation error.
