The LED of the charger changes from red to green when it is
fully charged.
Remove the battery pack from the product for charging for
convenience. MILWAUKEE batteries do not develop a memory
when charged after only a partial discharge. It is not necessary
to run down the battery pack before placing it on the charger.
As a general practice, it is best to unplug battery chargers and
remove batteries when not in use. No battery pack damage
occurs unless the charger and battery pack are left plugged in.
The charger keeps the battery pack fully charged if it is left on
the charger. The light indicator is the same as normal charging.
If the light indicator
fl
ashes red and green, check that the
battery pack is fully seated into the bay. Remove the battery
pack and reinsert. If the light continues to
fl
ash red and green,
remove the battery pack(s) and unplug the charger for at least
2 minutes. After 2 minutes, plug the charger back in and insert
the pack. If the problem persists, contact a MILWAUKEE
service centre.

BATTERIES
Battery packs that have not been used for some time should be
recharged before use.
Temperatures in excess of 50°C reduce the performance of
the battery pack. Avoid extended exposure to heat or sunshine
(risk of overheating).
The contacts of the chargers and battery packs must be kept
clean.
For an optimum life-time, the battery packs have to be fully
charged after use.
To obtain the longest possible battery life remove the battery
pack from the charger once it is fully charged.
For battery pack storage longer than 30 days:
●
Store the battery pack where the temperature is below
27°C and away from moisture.
●
Store the battery packs in a 30% - 50% charged condition.
●
Every six months of storage, charge the pack as normal.
BATTERY PACK PROTECTION
The battery pack has an overload protection that protects it
from being overloaded and helps to ensure a long life.
Under extreme stress, the battery electronics automatically
turns o
ff
the product. To restart, turn o
ff
the product and then
turn it on again. If the product does not start up again, the
battery pack may have discharged completely. In this case the
battery pack must be recharged in the battery charger.
