5-16. Threading Welding Wire For XR-Aluma-Pro Or XR-Aluma-Pro Lite

Lay gun cable out straight.
Tools Needed:
6 in.
(150 mm)
Hold wire tightly to keep
it from unraveling.
Open pressure assembly.
Pull and hold wire;
cut off end.
Push wire thru guides into gun;
continue to hold wire.
Close and tighten pressure
assembly, and let go of wire.
See Section 5-17 for threading
welding wire through XR guns.
