Remove drive roll and
carrier. Apply light coat
of oil or grease to drive
motor shaft.

Check gun liner for blockage or
kinks.

Wire Drive Assembly
Check for jammed wire, binding
drive gear or misaligned drive rolls.
Allow cooling period and reset
breaker. Close door.

6-3. Unit Overload
Thermal switches TP4 in SR1 and TP5 in XFMR protect the unit from damage due to overheating. If the thermal indica-
tor illuminates, wait for unit to cool allowing fan motor to run before trying to weld. If unit is cool and no weld output
continues, contact Factory Authorized Service Agent.
