9. USB-UART connection

Mikromedia contains a USB MINI-B
connector which is positioned next
to the battery connector. FT232RL
USB-UART IC enables you to implement
UART serial communication functionality via
USB cable, since dsPIC33FJ256GP710A does
not support USB protocol.

Before connecting the board, make sure that you have FTDI drivers installed
on your computer. Tx/Rx LED flashes when USB and controller communicate.
