General problems with the washer-dryer
Problem
Cause and remedy
The washer-dryer is not
steady during a spin
cycle.
The machine feet are not level.
Level the washer-dryer and secure the feet.
Unusual pumping
noises.
This is not a fault. These slurping noises occur at the
end of the pump sequence as a normal part of oper-
ation.
Spinning sounds during
the drying process.
This is not a fault. The machine will spin, even during
a drying programme (thermospin).
Large amounts of deter-
gent residue remain in
the detergent dispenser
drawer.
The water pressure is too low.
Clean the filters in the water inlet.
Select
Water plus
.
Powder detergent used in conjunction with water
softeners tends to become sticky.
In future, add washing powder into the dispenser
drawer first, and then add the water softener.
Fabric conditioner is not
completely dispensed
or too much water re-
mains in the
com-
partment.
The siphon tube is not correctly positioned or is
clogged.
Clean the siphon, see "Cleaning and care - Clean-
ing the detergent dispenser drawer".
The display is in a dif-
ferent language.
A different language has been selected in "Settings"
"Language
".
Set the language you want.
The flag symbol serves as a guide.
Foam comes out of the
detergent dispenser
drawer while the
Rinse
out fluff
programme is
running.
Residual detergent from the last programme is still
present in the suds container.
Make sure you dispense the correct amount of de-
tergent.
Follow the dispensing recommendations on the
packaging.
