Entering the
PIN code
If in the
Release
menu you have selected
Block
or if you have set the
Additional settings
menu up for access via a PIN code, you have to
enter the PIN code.
Settings within the
Additional settings
menu can then only be changed
by people with administrative rights.
The PIN code is set at the factory to 8 0 0 0 if access in
Additional
settings
is blocked.
The following PIN-entry screen will appear in the display, for example:

Use the
and
arrow buttons to enter the numerical values, and
confirm each entry with the
OK
button.
Each press of the
OK
button takes the highlighting to the next input
position automatically.
Each entered digit is replaced by an asterisk (*).
The protected settings are unlocked once all digits have been
correctly entered.
If an incorrect PIN code is entered, the following message will appear
in the display:
K
OK
Wrong code entered
Press the
OK
button to acknowledge the message.
The display will then revert to the input menu.
