Unusual behavior of the dishwasher
Problem
Possible cause and solution
Program finished
has
appeared on the display
and you cannot select or
start a program.
This is not a fault.
Open and close the door.
The dishwasher must remain switched on while you do
this.
The dishwasher fails to
react when buttons are
pressed. The display and
indicator lights remain
dark.
The dishwasher has turned itself off after the set Switch-off
time to save energy.
Press the
button to turn the dishwasher on again.
The following fault
message is appears in the
display:
Salt container lid not closed
correctly
The salt reservoir cover is not properly closed.
Close the salt reservoir cover.
The dispenser cover
cannot be closed.
Detergent residue is blocking the latch.
Remove the detergent residue.
Water remains in the wash
cabinet at the end of a
program.
Before remedying the fault:
Switch the dishwasher off with the
button.
The filter combination in the wash cabinet is clogged.
Clean the filter combination (see “Cleaning and care”).
The drain pump or non-return valve is blocked.
Clean the drain pump or the non-return valve (see
“Frequently asked questions”).
The drain hose is kinked.
Remove the kink.
The on-site drain trap is clogged.
Check and clean the drain trap.
Peak load cut-out
This is not a fault!
Your energy management system has detected a peak-
load in the energy supply. Some components in the
dishwasher stop operating for the duration of the peak-
load cut-out.
