With the help of the following guide, minor faults in the performance of the
appliance, some of which may result from incorrect operation, can be remedied
without contacting Miele. This will save you time and money because you won't
need a service call.
Please note that a call-out charge will be applied to unnecessary service visits
where the problem could have been rectified as described in these operating
instructions.
The display shows the following messages or faults
Message
Possible cause and remedy
The drum is empty
or the laundry is too
dry
lights up after a
programme has
been cancelled.
This is not a fault.
In some programmes, if the drum has been
overloaded or underloaded, the programme will be
cancelled. This can also happen if the items are
already dry.
Open the door and check the laundry.
Add or remove laundry.
Open and close the door to resume drying.
Use the
Timed drying warm air
programme to dry
individual items.
Power outage.
Programme stopped.
There has been an interruption to the power supply.
When power is restored, you need to confirm with
OK
.
Touch the
Start/Stop
sensor.
Open bottom right
grille, clean the heat
exchanger
lights
up at the end of a
programme.
The cooling fins of the heat exchanger behind the
grille may be blocked by dirt particles drawn in from
the surrounding area, and the air passages may be
blocked by fluff.
Clean as described in "Cleaning and care -
Cleaning the bottom right grille/heat exchanger".
Check and clean the filters in the drum loading
area and in the plinth.
To delete the message: Touch the
OK
sensor.
