Problem solving guide
Many malfunctions and faults that can occur in daily operation can be easily
remedied. Time and money will be saved because a service call will not be
needed.
The following guide may help you to find the reason for a malfunction or a fault,
and to correct it.
Problem Cause and remedy
The vacuum cleaner
switches off automatic-
ally. The overheating protection mechanism has been ac-
tivated due to overheating or a blockage.
The vacuum cleaner in-operation indicator light will
light up red.
 Switch the Electrobrush and the vacuum cleaner
off, switch off at the wall socket and remove the
plug.

Check the vacuum cleaner for any blockages and
check all the filters in the vacuum cleaner.
Once the blockage has been removed, do not use the
vacuum cleaner for about 20 - 30 minutes to allow it
to cool down.
The Electrobrush
switches itself off. The
Electrobrush indicator
light is lit up red. The red light indicates a blockage in the roller; for ex-
ample, due to a large item being vacuumed up.
 Switch the Electrobrush and the vacuum cleaner
off, switch off at the wall socket and remove the
plug.
 Remove the blockage.
The vacuum cleaner can then be used again.
