Risk of injury due to hot burners.
The burners will be hot after use.
Switch the cooktop off.
Allow the burners to cool down
before cleaning the cooktop.
Risk of injury due to electric
shock.
The steam from a steam cleaning
appliance could reach electrical
components and cause a short
circuit.
Never use a steam cleaner for
cleaning.
All surfaces could become
discoloured or damaged if unsuitable
cleaning agents are used. All
surfaces are susceptible to
scratching.
Remove any residual cleaning agent
immediately.
Never use abrasive sponges or
cleaning agents.
The cooktop should be cleaned after
each use.
Dry the cooktop after using water to
clean it. This helps prevent lime
deposits.
Unsuitable cleaning agents
To avoid damaging the surfaces, do not
use:
- dish detergent
- cleaning agents containing soda,
ammonia, acids, or chlorides
- cleaning agents containing descaling
agents
- stain or rust removers
- abrasive cleaning agents (e.g.
powder cleaners and cream cleaners)
- solvent-based cleaning agents
- dishwasher cleaner
- grill and oven sprays
- glass cleaning agents
- hard, abrasive brushes or sponges
(e.g. pot scourers, brushes, or
sponges which have been previously
used with abrasive cleaning agents)
- eraser blocks
