With the aid of the following guide, minor problems can be easily corrected
without contacting Miele.
If you then can't remedy the problem yourself, please call Miele (see back cover
for details). Please note that a call-out charge will be applied for unnecessary ser-
vice visits where the problem could have been rectified as described in these
operating instructions.

On no account should you open the appliance housing!
Installation, maintenance and repairs may only be carried out by a suitably
qualified and competent person in strict accordance with current national and
local safety regulations.
Repairs and other work by unqualified persons could be dangerous. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for unauthorised work. Ensure current is not
supplied until after maintenance or repair work has been carried out.

All pre-set times have been lost because of a power cut.
The buzzer has also been reset to the factory default.
Reset the times and the buzzer.
A noise can be
heard after a
cooking
programme.
This is not a fault.
The cooling fan continues to run for a while after the oven
has been switched off. When the temperature has fallen
sufficiently, the fan switches off automatically.
The temperature will fall faster with the oven door open.
