Cutlery tray
For best results cutlery should be
grouped in zones, one for knives, one
for forks, etc. making unloading easier.
Place the blades of knives and the tines
of forks between the holders. Spoons
should be placed in the opposite direc-
tion with the handle in the holder.
Longer items such as soup ladles,
spatulas, mixing spoons and long
knives should be placed lengthwise in
the indentation in the middle of the cut-
lery tray.
The upper spray arm must not be
blocked by large pieces.
The cutlery tray insert is removable.
Spoon heads should be placed in con-
tact with the serrated retainers of the
cutlery tray so water can run off.
If a spoon handle does not fit securely
between the holders then place it like
the forks and knives.
Do not cover the opening in the middle
of the cutlery tray. Make sure that the
upper spray arm can rotate freely after
the tray is slid in; otherwise the rotation
of the spray arms may be inadequate
for a thorough cleaning.
