Connection to the drainage

system



Incorrect installation can result in

personal injury and damage to

property.

The drainage siphon must not be

located higher than the drain hose

connection point on the steam oven.

This is to ensure that water can drain

out completely after a programme.
The top end of the drain hose must

not be higher than 500 mm where it

connects to the siphon.
The plastic drain hose supplied must

not be shortened.

The drain hose can be connected to

either

– a drainage siphon with a fixed hose

connection point or

– to the connection point on a sink

drainage siphon.

The temperature of the drainage water

is approx. 70 °C.
We recommend only using genuine

original Miele hoses.

Connect the drain hose



Connect the plastic hose to the

siphon using the hose clip

(

21 mm).



Then secure the hose with the hose

clip.
