Cause and remedy
Cakes and biscuits are
not cooked properly
after following the
durations given in the
recipe.
The temperature set is not the same as the one given
in the recipe.
Change the temperature.
The grease filter is inserted in the back panel. Baking
takes longer with this filter is place.
Increase the baking duration.
The recipe has been altered. For example, adding
more liquid or eggs can increase the duration
required.
Adapt the temperature or baking duration
accordingly.
Cakes or biscuits are
unevenly browned.
The set temperature is too high.
The grease filter has not been taken out of the back
panel.
More than two levels were used for baking.
Bake on a maximum of two levels.

The suction tube in the water container
– is not fitted correctly.

Connect it properly and make sure it is vertical:

The drain hoses are blocked.
Proceed as described in "Cleaning and care -
Descaling".
If the fault message appears again, switch the
appliance off and contact Miele.

Communication fault
Switch the steam oven off and then back on again
after a few minutes.
If the same message appears again, call the
Service Department.
