are available for light
to heavy cooking vapors and odors.
If heavy cooking vapors and odors
occur temporarily, e.g., during frying,
select stage
B
as booster level.
Use the blower switch
to turn on
the blower and select the appropriate
power level.
Cooking on a high setting causes
very high temperatures in the
ventilation hood.
Excessive temperatures may
damage the ventilation hood.
Always switch on the ventilation hood
when using the cooktop.
Particularly when using gas cooktops,
one of the following blower levels
should be selected depending on
which cooking level is selected.
Ventilation hood with blower DRIB/
DREB XL (700 cfm)
Gas power level
switched on
Minimum
blower level
from approx.
75,000 BTU/h (22 kW)

from approx.
105,800 BTU/h
(31 kW)

The ventilation hood is fitted with a
temperature sensor. If a blower level
that is too low is selected, the
ventilation hood automatically
switches temporarily to the booster
level. This occurs even if the
ventilation hood is switched off.
