Installing/replacing the charcoal filter
Before installing or replacing the
charcoal filters, the panel and the
grease filters must first be taken out
(see previous section for instructions
on how to do this).
Remove the charcoal filter from its
packaging.
Press the filters into the frame.
Reinstall the grease filters.
When installing the filter for the first
time, activate the filter saturation
counter (see "Operation").
When to change the OdorFree
Charcoal Filter
Always replace the OdorFree
Charcoal Filters whenever they no
longer absorb kitchen odors
effectively.
The charcoal filters should be
replaced at least once every 6
months.
The charcoal filter saturation indicator
will light up to remind you to change
the charcoal filter regularly.
The charcoal filter saturation counter
requires one-time activation before
use (see the "Operation" chapter).
Resetting the filter saturation
indicator for the charcoal filter
If the filter saturation counter is
activated, it must be reset each time the
filter is changed.
To do this, press the filter saturation
indicator
twice with the fan
turned on and hold it for approx. 3
seconds until
1
is the only indicator
flashing. The charcoal filter symbol
will go out.
If you replace the charcoal filters
before
the full time interval elapses:
Press the filter saturation indicator
twice and hold it for approx. 6
seconds until
1
is the only indicator
flashing.
Disposing of the OdorFree Charcoal
Filter
Used charcoal filters can be disposed
of with normal household waste.
