Possible reasons for increased levels of
foaming:
– detergent type
Only use detergent formulated for use in
commercial washer extractors. Domestic
laundry detergent is not suitable.
– overdosing of detergent
Dispense detergent following the detergent
manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging
and in accordance with local water hardness
levels*.
– detergent creates too much foam
Use a lower foaming detergent or contact
your detergent application specialist.
– very soft water
In areas with hardness level 1 dispense
less detergent in accordance with the
detergent manufacturer’s instructions.
– soiling level of the laundry
For lightly soiled laundry dispense less
detergent in accordance with the deter-
gent manufacturer’s instructions.
– small loads
Reduce the amount of detergent dis-
pensed according to the size of the load.
In "Position B" it is possible to reduce the
drum speed and the wash rhythm during
the heating-up phase in Programme 14.
