6. Frequency offset
Offset is the frequency difference between transmission and reception;
in this radio it is from 00.000 to 99.950 MHz and is set with the POWER/
DIAL knob. Confirm by pressing PTT or ENT and exit with U/V.
7. Channel name (CH_NAM)
Each memory channel can be associated with an alphanumeric name up
to 6 characters.
This function can be enabled only in CH or MR mode.
Enter this mode and rotate the POWER/DIAL knob to choose the first
digit from “0” – “9” to “A” – “Z”.
To switch to the next digit push 2 PWR; to go back to the previous cha-
racter press 1 SQL.
To delete your settings use the 0 SQT key and push ENT for confirmation.
8. Name/frequency mode (NAM_SW)
In CH and MR mode, rotate the POWER/DIAL knob to select
“ON” / “OFF”.
ON:
the display shows the channel name (if set).
OFF:
the display shows the frequency.
Note: Before enabling this function, you must edit the channel name first
(see previous par.).
9. Power-on message (OPENS)
OFF:
standard power on: the display shows the frequency or the
channel number.
MSG:
the display shows the ‘power-on’ message that you set.
DC:
the current battery voltage is displayed.
10. Power-on message setting (MSG)
With this function you can edit your power-on message up to 6 cha-
racters.
With the POWER/DIAL knob, select the first digit from “0” – “9”, “A” – “Z”, “
”, “+”, “-“, “/” and “_”. Press 2 PWR to switch to the next character and 1 SQL
to go back to the previous one.
To delete your settings use the 0 SQT key and push ENT for confirmation.
