Refrigerant Leakage Detection (EL0C)
Description:
Define the evaporator coil temperature T2 of the compressor as it starts running as Tcool. Five minutes after the
compressor starts, if T2<Tcool-2C does not maintain continuous 4 seconds, and this issue occurs 3 times, the display area
illuminates “EC” and the AC turns off.
Recommended parts to prepare:
• Faulty T2 sensor
• Faulty indoor PCB
• System problems, such as leakage or blockages
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Are there any leaks?
Check system for blocks and
clear any blocks if present .
Does a problem remain ?
Put your hands in front of the
indoor air outlet .

Is there cool
air coming from the
indoor air outlet?
Is it securely
attached?
Replace the
indoor PCB.
