The SCM4000 (
) is a highly reliable, flexible, and
compact microwave Single Carrier Modem ideal for fixed or
mobile installations.

The SCM4000 is used for transmitting and/or receiving digital
signals and compressed video signals through microwave radio
communications links and provides maximum flexibility to
support multiple configuration requirements with user-friendly
Preset selections.
The SCM4000 is ideal for microwave fixed links for Studio to
Transmitter Links (STL), Transmitter to Studio Links (TSL), Inter-
City Relay (ICR) service, Electronic News Gathering (ENG),
network distribution, satellite, and backhaul operations.
The SCM4000 is a versatile QAM modem designed to translate
between RS232/RS485, SMPTE310M, ASI, E3/DS3, T1/E1, and
10/100BaseT signals and 70 MHz IF.
The SCM4000 contains an RS232 interface to provide interface
connection for factory test purposes. A rear panel-mounted
connector is also provided to monitor summary alarms.
