of ALOHA transmission mode and the device starts to operate in accordance with the configuration.

45 include the initiation of ALOHA transmission mode. If you intend to install the myDa-
talogNANO Ex in a shaft, the device including the antenna should still be outside the
shaft when ALOHA transmission mode is initiated.
9. If you intend to install the myDatalogNANO Ex in a shaft, you must check that the device can
also establish a GPRS connection in the final installation position when the shaft lid is closed
before you leave the place of use.
Proceed as follows during this process:
1. Place the device and the antenna in the final installation position (with the shaft lid
open).
2. Initiate ALOHA transmission mode.
3. Close the shaft lid.
