Your hearing healthcare professional must ensure your
ear canal is long enough to hold the Free ITC properly. (See
Inserting your Hearing Aid). If your ear canal is too small, Free
ITC is not an appropriate hearing aid for you.
Connect the Medium D-Ring system to the Free ITC
(Connecting the D-Ring to the Hearing Aid) and insert the Free
ITC into the ear (Inserting your Hearing Aid).
If the D-Ring does not fit snugly, or if it is too tight or
becomes deformed, you will need to try another size.
Check that the D-Ring is not too loose, as this may prevent
the device from being held in place. (A slightly looser fit is
preferable to one that that is too tight).
Your Free ITC with a D-Ring should make contact with
several points of the ear (around the concha wall and fold of
the helix).
If you cannot find a size that fits correctly, you may wish to
consider a hearing aid with a custom-made mould/shell.
1- Open the battery compartment.
2- Insert the battery and close the battery compartment.
3- To remove the battery, turn the hearing aid upside down and let
it drop into your hand.
