A new Lithium battery ensures 1 day 2 channel ECG recording including 2 nights of 8 hour
nocturnal respiratory polygraph.
NOTE:
Place a new battery for each new recording in order to ensure the duration
announced above.
Internal memory battery
Spider SAS contains an internal battery recharged by the device’s main AAA battery. This
memory battery ensures the maintenance of the system’s date and time and other
parameters in the absence of the main battery for about 30 days.
NOTE:
If the recorder has not been used for more than 1 month, it is recommended to
remove the AAA battery to avoid electrolyte leak (See § 4.1). Consequently, if the device is
stored for a very long period of time, the internal battery will run flat and therefore the
recorder will not start when re-using. It is then necessary to insert a new battery in the
recorder to recharge the internal memory battery before use. Depending on the level of
discharge of the internal battery, it is necessary to wait from a few minutes up to a few hours
to be able to start Spider SAS. The date and time of the recorder should be reset
appropriately by using HookUp RS before starting a new recording.
