The system powers on, and
the display works, but the
system does not complete
the boot process, or one of
the following error messages
is displayed on the screen:
• “Hard Disk Controller
Failure”
• “Fixed Disk Configuration
Error”
• “Operating System Not
Found”
• The files on the hard disk may be corrupted, and the operating system my need to be re-
installed.

Locate the
Operating System Recovery CD and the Drivers CD (also locate the Image
Restore CD if your system comes with one).
2.
Follow the instructions in the MicronPC
Operating System Recovery CD and
Drivers/Software User’s Guide.
3.
If your system comes with an
Image Restore CD, follow the instructions in the Image
Restore CDs and Drivers and Software CDs User’s Guide.
• The hard disk may be defective. If the hard disk is defective, it needs to be replaced.
