Creating a
RAIDset involves
the following 3
steps:
A. Select RAID level
B. Select the disks for the
RAID or as spare
C. Click the Create Button
The Platinum will begin
initialization. Please note
that the shares cannot be
created while RAIDset initialization is in progress.
IMPORTANT: RAID Initialization cannot
be stopped once started.

2.2.2 Delete RAIDset
To Delete a RAIDset, click the “Remove RAID” link (D). A confirmation screen will appear, and
you may click “OK” to finalize deletion or “cancel” to abort operation.

Note:
If the RAID Level options and the “Create”
button are greyed out, there is an existing RAIDset.
It will have to be removed before a new RAIDset
can be defined.
