Viewing the stored values
With the monitor switched off, move the switch
AT
to the mode with
the data you want to view, then press the M-button

The cuff will now pump up automatically. Relax, do not move
and do not tense your arm muscles until the measurement is
completed. Breathe normally and do not talk.

When the correct pressure is reached, the pumping stops and
the pressure falls gradually. If the required pressure was not
reached, the instrument will automatically pump some more air
to the cuff.
10. During the measurement, the heart symbol
AN
flashes in the
display and a beep sounds every time a heartbeat is detected.
11. After the first measurement is completed, the 60 second count
down starts again to relax between the measurements. Then
the second measurement starts automatically. If an error
occurs, the measurement is automatically repeated.
12. The result, comprising the systolic
AK
and the diastolic
AL
blood pressure and the pulse
AM
is displayed and longer beep
is heard. Note also the explanations on further displays in this
booklet.
13. At the end of a measurement, this instrument automatically
stores each result, including date and time.
14. When the measurement has finished, remove the cuff.
15. Switch off the instrument. (The monitor does switch off auto-
matically after approx. 1 min.).

You can stop the measurement at any time by pressing the
ON/OFF button (e.g. if you feel uneasy or an unpleasant pres-
sure sensation).

In this mode, the device functions like a normal blood pressure
monitor – single measurements are automatically stored and
can be evaluated by a doctor.
