Problems may arise when intermediate times (Laps) are used and these are very close to each
other or between start and stop. Again it is not necessary that the delta (difference) between the
impulses be more that 1.2 s; it is enough that the impulse has a "period of time" (green line)
during which it does not overlap with others.

If there are many close intermediate times, one of them might be "completely" obscured by the
previous or following impulses (as in the case of L2 in the figure below) and therefore won't be
detected.
