Description
User Serial
Number
The encoder’s 32-bit (8-hex digits) serial number should
be entered here. If the Auto Increment check box is
selected, the serial number and/or user seed will be
automatically incremented when an encoder is
successfully programmed.
Baud Rate Select
400 uS All: Basic Pulse Width (BPW) of 400 µs with all
the code words transmitted.
200 uS 1/2: BPW of 200 µs and one in two code words
transmitted.
Low Voltage Trip
Low: V
LOW
bit in transmission set at V
DD
= 4V.
High: V
LOW
bit in transmission set at V
DD
= 8V.
Extended Serial
Number
If checked, the full 32-bit serial number is transmitted. If
not checked, the most significant nibble of the serial
number is replaced by the function code.
Start Pulse Enable If checked, a Start pulse is transmitted before the first
transmission.
Minimum 4 Tx
If checked, at least four complete code words are
transmitted each time the encoder is activated, even if
all buttons are released.
S3 Set
If checked, S3 is always transmitted as a 1. If not
checked, S3 in the transmitted function code mirrors the
value of S2.
