2. Use
When the heater is ready for use, up to four HEROfill
®
Obturators at a time may be placed in the
appropriate slots. Place the HEROfill
®
Obturators in slots marked 1 to 4
(B3)
.
Tip: Place the
HEROfill
®
Obturator
to be used first in slot #1, the second in #2 etc. - generally you should begin with the
smallest size

1. Activate the timer by pressing the
ON
icon
(B4)

2. Indicator

lights up red during the heating cycle.

When ready, the indicator changes to green and you will hear a beep

Let the HEROfill
®
Obturator stay in the heater until you are ready to insert it (max. 15 min).
4. It is possible to turn off the HEROfill
®
Oven by holding down the
ON
button for 2
seconds
(B4)
. The HEROfill
®
Oven beeps three times to indicate it is switched off. Hold down the
ON
button for 2 seconds to reactivate the heater.
Tip: You do not have to turn off
the HEROfill
®
Oven after finished treatment; the HEROfill
®
Oven can
be left on standby all day.

3. Cleaning
When the heater has cooled completely, gutta percha residue may easily be removed. The top of the
heater may be removed for cleaning by rotating the top counter-clockwise 1 until the top is loose
and can be removed 2 (B5).
The top may be washed in a dishwasher and/or autoclaved. Gutta percha residue may be removed
from the heat chamber by the use of a blunt plastic instrument.
The main part of the heater may be wiped with a slightly damp cloth, using standard cleaning
solutions and surface disinfection products.
