Transport, Transport Lock
Avoid damage when transporting the measuring system, particularly to any protruding
parts.
Persons required
Equipment and tools required
-
Forklift, 2000 kg minimum payload or crane
-
Rechargeable electric screwdriver with Torx™
T20 bit
-
SW13 wrench
-
Four round slings
-
Cross member
Mass of the measuring system
approx. 800 kg including packaging
Only raise the measuring system a few centimeters; this prevents the measuring system
from tipping over.
Avoid any unnecessary jolting of the measuring system, for example due to fast lowering
of the measuring system from a forklift.
The measuring system must not be lifted on one side and then pulled.
i
You will need at least two people and a forklift or a crane to transport the measuring
system.
Transport the measuring system and its packaging to the destination with a forklift/
crane.
Open the wooden crate of the measuring system. Use a rechargeable electric
screwdriver, bit size T20.
i
Avoid any lateral forces on the sidewalls of the wooden crate.
Loosen the transport locks on the lashing straps/cable ties, etc. on the base frame
Place the round slings onto the four transport eyebolts
. Attach the round
slings to a cross-member. Do not lift the measuring system.

Fig. 25 Transport eyebolts on the measuring system
i
The measuring system must in principle be transported using the four transport
eyebolts and a traverse beam.
Remove the four screws of the transport locking closures on the bottom of the
. Use a 6 mm screwdriver and an open-end wrench,
SW13.
CAUTION
Do not brake suddenly
while transporting the
measuring system. The
measuring system can
fall off of the forklift!
Prevent the measuring
system from falling off
the forklift, e.g. by using
lashing straps.
CAUTION
Measuring system can
tip even if it is sufficiently
secured. “Slightly tip”
the measuring system.
Always check safeguards
that are in danger of tip-
ping!
