3.3 Monitor Menu (Lithium batteries only)
Connect your lithium battery you want to check to the CH1/CH2 charger
output and the corresponding balance port.
Enter the Monitor menu.
Cell Voltage and In-
ternal Resistance:
The
charger measures and
displays the voltage of
each individual cell. Touch
the “(Ω) IR” icon in order
to measure and display
the internal resistance.
Balancing Cell Volt-
age:
Touch the “BALAN-
CE” icon to balance the
cell voltage
Touch the “BACK” icon to
return to the Main Menu.
3.4 Calibration Menu
Calibration menu allows user calibration of the balancer channels.
Turn on the charger and let it on for at least 30 minutes in order to
stabilize its internal
temperature. Prepare
a large capacity (more
than 3000 mAh) 6S LiPo
pack charged at 4.0-4.1
V/cell (this ensures the
voltage would not drop
during the calibration)
and measure the volt-
age of all individual cells using a high precision (at least ±1 mV) digital
voltmeter. Connect the battery to the charger output and balancer port
of the channel you intend to calibrate.
Enter the Calibration menu.
Enter the voltages of all
cells as measured by your
high precision voltmeter
and touch the “SAVE”
icon to save your user
calibration.
You can return to the
default factory calibrati-
on touching the “RESET”
icon anytime.
WARNING: As the manufacturer has no control over the equip-
ment used by the user and how the calibration is done by the
user, the calibration is in sole responsibility of the user.
Touch the “BACK” icon to return to the Main Menu.
3.5 Lithium Battery (LiPo, LiHV, LiFe, LiIo) Program

STORAGE
This program is for charging or discharging
lithium batteries which will not be used for
long time to “storage” voltage. Requires balan-
ce cable connected.
CHARGE
This charging mode is for charging lithium
batteries in the normal mode.
BAL CHARGE
This mode is for balancing the voltage of lithium
battery cells while charging. Requires balance
cable connected.
DISCHARGE This mode is for discharging lithium batteries.
All the lithium battery programs work in the same way; we will use the LiPo
battery and Balance charge mode as an example.
3.5.1 Setting the Parameters
Enter the LiPo menu.
Select the Balan-
ce mode “BAL.
CHARGE” and set
all the parameters
as required.
