You will get best results when grilling the chicken (about 1000 grams) with lower and upper heat
and temperature 200 °C .
When using lower heat, the development of smoke can increase. To avoid this, you can collect
drops of grease with some alu foil also.
Choose poultry or pieces of meat which are not too big. The rotary spit must turn faultlessly.
Using poultry it might be necessary to fix the wings and legs with twine. The rotary spit will get
turned as soon as you switch the lower switch to position I (ON).
To avoid touching the top or the bottom of the inner oven the poultry should not be more than
800-1000 gr. You need about 60 minutes grilling time for 1000 gr of meat or poultry.
Please check the rotary spit turning as the switch of the rotary spit does not habve a control
lamp.
Special notes for using the grill oven with the rotary spit:
Using different kind of food with different weight, size, consistency and content of fluid the
degree of browning might vary.
To achieve the desired degree of browning (e. g. for chicken) it might be necessary to increase
temperature in the end of the grilling time.
In this case always check the degree of browning to avoid burning when using the maximum
temperture.
Caution! Always switch off the applaince after each use. Put all switches in 0 position
(OFF) and unplug in order to disconnect the appliance from the current!

Notes:
To save energy and reduce cooking time, always cover your cooking ware with its lid. This
saves time, especially when using minimum heat level of smaller cooking plate.
Cooking ware must have the same diameter as the cooking plate. It should not be smaller,
to avoid wasting energy.
The small cooking plate is suited to reheat ready food. It is not suited for cooking water with
a pot without lid.
Use cooking ware which fits to the cooking palte. the diematres should match, not be smaller
or much bigger.
0
= Off
1 & 2 = keep warm, reheat
3 & 4 = cooking, simmering
4 & 5 = frying and stewing
6 MAX = bring to the boil and searing
Never use the cooking plates without any cookware.
The cooking plates can be used together with the baking oven. Please note that the power
supply might be overloaded in this case.
Caution! Always switch off the applaince after each use. Put all rotary and tappet
switches in 0 position (OFF / AUS) and unplug in order to disconnect the appliance from
the current!
