start at a medium setting as food varies according to humidity, thickness and kind. This is why each
kind of food can be ready in a different time.
Defrosting
Make sure that all plastic and paper wrappings are removed.
Slide in the baking tray under the grill grid. Place the food on the top of the grill grid in the oven.
Close the oven door. Do not preheat.
Rotate the temperature dial to minimum or medium position.
Let the appliance heat until the food is defrosted. Timing varies according to food type and size.
Control from time to time.
Useful Tips
Avoid opening the oven door too frequently to prevent heat loss.
Condensation may appear on the oven door for some foods and then disappear. This is normal.
Cook food immediately after defrosting.
Frozen foods and thick layers of meat will take longer time to cook.
The temperature and the baking/cooking time vary due to kind, size consistency of the food
which is used. Use common recipe books for differnt food.
We recommend gratinating with closed door in the medium or lower level of baking tray
(do not gratinate on the upper level). Use maximum heat level.
Caution! Always switch off the applaince after each use. Put all rotary and tappet
switches in 0 position (OFF / AUS) and unplug in order to disconnect the appliance from
the current!
Using the rotary spit
To avoid burning, do not switch on the appliance before you have fixed the spit properly.
When using the rotary spit always put the baking tray into lower level. This avoids grease and
fluid dripping into the appliance and get burned.
Put some water into the baking tray before starting the grilling progress. This avoids
development of smoke.
Grease the rotary spit slightly and put your food (e.g. spiced chicken) onto the spit. Then
position the fasteners and fix by turning the wing screws. Insert the spit first into the right side´s
socket and then into the left side´s holder until it is engaged firmly.
