Using your cooking plate
Caution! Hot surface! When operating electrical heating-appliances (such as
hot plates, hot pans or hot fat) please keep in mind that high temperatures are
achieved which may cause serious injuries.
Caution! Danger of burning! Appliance gets hot during operation. Never touch
hot cooking plates, lid or housing!
Caution! Fire danger! Always keep enough distance to the walls, furniture curtain
or towels. The appliance must not be placed next to easily inflammable objects.
Never let the appliance unattended while in operation! Food might boil over or scorch.
Keep special care when using oil and fat. Hot oil and fat can burn easily!
Ensure that the thermostat switches are both in “MIN” Position (OFF).
Place the unit on a stable, dry non-slip and heat resistant surface.
Unroll the cord completely.
Ensure to have enough aeration in the room by opening the window.
Only use pans and pots that have suitable diameter (approx. 19 cm for the big plate
and approx. 16 cm for the small plate) and are designed to use with electrically
heated hot-plates. The should have a solid base and be even as possible. Do not use
pots or pans with smaller diameter than the diameter of hotplate. Utensils with convex,
concave or uneven bottom should not be used.
Put your pot or pan filled with food onto the suitable plate. You can use both plates at
the same time however care must be exercised to prevent the cooking utensils
handles from protruding over the adjacent hotplate.
Connect the appliance to the current. Turn the temperature switch clockwise to
desired position. The control lamp is illuminated and will switch off when the
desired temperature has reached.
