Receive mode

switches on/off the reception of transmitted data

Type of connected instruments:

Balance

type or manufacturer of the connected balance

Printer

emulation of printer type

try HP Deskjet for any inkjet or laser printer

(with RS232 interface)

try Epson or IBM Proprinter for dot matrix printers

(with RS232 interface)

Data communication settings
The 726 Titroprocessor may communicate with a personal computer or a

LIMS system via the RS232 interfaces. The settings are:

Communication Int.

RS232 interface used for the connection

Commun. mode

Mode of data communication:

keyCTRL

(=remote control using key code

simulation)

keySEND

(=send codes of keys pressed to a PC)

LIMS

(=data output to a PC or LIMS system

e.g. for raw data report to a LIMS)

off

no data communication

Centronics printer port (726 model without built-in printer)
It is recommended to connect a printer to the parallel printer port rather than

to any RS232 interface (see your printer manual).

Printer

emulation of printer type

try HP Deskjet for any inkjet or laser printer

try Epson or IBM Proprinter for dot matrix printers

Internal printer settings (726 models with built-in thermal printer)
The built-in printer may be used besides an external printer (RS232 inter-

face).
Internal printer

switch on/off the internal printer

Auto form feed

switch on/off automatic paper feed after report

printing (with original Metrohm 6.2237.040 thermal

paper only)

The softkeys [Reset RS232 1] and [Reset RS232 2] will reset the input and

output buffers of the RS232 interfaces.
