5.3 Global Status Screen
The Global Status Screen gives an overall summary of the unit as shown below:
5.3.1 State
For each port, the Global Status shows the Admin status of the port. This may be Up or
Down. If a port is down, then all alarm/status processing is disabled on that port. if a port
is up then further information is displayed
5.3.2 Alarms
Where a port is, or has been, in an alarmed state the alarm will be displayed. An alarm
shown in upper case indicates a current alarm, whilst lower case indicates an alarm which
has now cleared.
