5.2.3.9.4 default Priority
When the traffic isolation mode is VLAN, this is the priority value that is added with the
VLAN ID during ingress. In QinQ mode, untagged packets are given this default priority,
whilst tagged packets promote the C-TAG priority to the S-TAG priority.
5.2.3.10 OAM
The LAN port supports IEEE 802.3 clause 57 link OAM. The LAN port may operate in
Active, Passive or have OAM functions disabled.
In Active mode, the port will transmit a status request once a second to solicit information
from the attached peer device.
In Passive mode, the port will wait for a status request from the active peer and will
respond with its local status.
In disabled mode, OAM will be disabled.
When OAM is enabled, the port OAM status may be displayed
when the peer device is identified as a member of the Metrodata MetroConnect product
range, proprietary enterprise extensions are used to extract further useful information
about the remote unit status.
