CONNECT THE PORTAL. 

Automatic set-up in network with DHCP 

 

Connect the device to the network via 
an Ethernet cable plugged into the 

Ethernet connection (see "Overview of 
interfaces"). 

 

The device will be allocated an IP 
address automatically and is then set 

up. 

Manual set-up in network without DHCP 

 

Connect the device to the network via 
an Ethernet cable plugged into the 

Ethernet connection (see "Overview of 
interfaces"). 

 

Enter the network settings (IP address 
etc.) using the software (see 

"Configuration using software"). 

Check network 

 

Press the "ACTION" button for two 

seconds.  

 

STATUS LED 1 (bottom left) is 
illuminated permanently when the 

portal connection is successful.

 

 

Activate Safer’Sun Portal 

 

Scan the QR sticker on the device 
using a smartphone and then follow the 

instructions. 

or 

 

Access 
www.meteocontrol.com/registration 

via a browser and fill in the registration 
form. 

Safer’Sun Portal system configuration 

 

Use the portal login on 

public.solarmonitoring.net. 

 

Use the cog on the bottom edge of the 

page (see illustration below). 

Check portal 

 

Press the "ACTION" button for two 

seconds.  

 

A connection is created and the status 
(e.g. system performance) is sent to 

the portal.

 

 

If STATUS LED 1 (bottom left) is not 

illuminated permanently, no portal 
connection is possible. 

 

Open the portal page. 

 

Check the icons on the bottom edge of 

the page (see illustration below).
