Safety Rules
When Handling Hydraulic Lines, Couplings and Parts
Only certified personnel are to service the hydraulic systems.
Damaged hydraulic hoses must be replaced immediately.
Avoid High Pressure Fluid Hazards
Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing serious injury.
Before disconnecting hydraulic lines or performing work on the hydraulic
system, be sure to release all residual pressure.
Make sure all hydraulic fluid connections are tight and all hydraulic hoses
and lines are in good condition before applying pressure to the system.
Use a piece of paper or cardboard NOT BODY PARTS, to check for suspected
leaks.
Wear protective gloves and safety glasses or goggles when working with
hydraulic systems.
SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION.
If an accident occurs, see a doctor familiar with
this type of injury immediately. Any fluid injected into the skin or eyes must be
treated within a few hours or gangrene may result.
Manuals must be read, understood, followed, and adhered to by
all
operators and maintenance personnel.
All units need regular maintenance performed by professional personnel.
Anything modified on the equipment results in the warranty being null and void.
