(6) Press in the spindle lock and tighten the bolt by
turning it to the left by standard accessorie’s wrench
(5 mm Hex. bar wrench) as indicated in Fig. 36-b.
CAUTION

rm that the spindle lock has returned to the
retract position after installing or removing the
saw blade.

Tighten the bolt so it does not come loose during
operation. Con
fi
rm the bolt has been properly
tightened before the power tool is started.
2. Dismounting the saw blade
Dismount the saw blade by reversing the mounting
procedures described in paragraph 1 above.
The saw blade can easily be removed after lifting the
safety cover.
CAUTION
Never attempt to install saw blades larger than
10 in. (255 mm) in diameter.
Always install saw blades that are 9-21/32"
(245 mm) to 10 in. (255 mm) in diameter.
LED LIGHT WARNING SIGNALS
This product features functions that are designed to
protect the tool itself as well as the battery. While the
switch is pulled, if any of the safeguard functions are
triggered during operation, the LED light will blink as
described in Table 5. When any of the safeguard functions
are triggered, immediately remove your
fi
nger from
the switch and follow the instructions described under
corrective action.
ABOUT REMAINING BATTERY INDICATOR
1. About Remaining Battery Indicator on Tool Body
When the switch is ON, the remaining battery
indicator lamp lights and the battery remaining power
can be checked. (Fig. 3) The Table 6 shows the state
of remaining battery indicator lamp and the battery
remaining power.

As the remaining battery indicator shows somewhat

2. About Remaining Battery Indicator on Battery
You can check the battery’s remaining capacity by
pressing the remaining battery indicator switch to light
the indicator lamp. (Fig. 37, Table 7)
The indicator will shut o
ff
approximately 3 seconds
after the remaining battery indicator switch is pressed.
It is best to use the remaining battery indicator as
a guide since there are slight di
ff
erences such as
ambient temperature and the condition of the battery.
Also, the remaining battery indicator may vary from
those equipped to a tool or charger.
