Installation

1. 

The place where the controller is installed should be well ventilated, avoiding direct sunlight and high 
temperatures. Furthermore, water should not be able to reach the controller.

2. 

Please select the correct screws to attach the controller on the wall or on another platform. Use M4 or M5 
screws, with a screw head diameter of less than 10mm.

3. 

Please leave enough space between the wall and the controller, to allow the controller to be well ventilated 
and to leave room for cable connection.

4. 

The distance between the mounting holes is 155,8 x 63,0 mm. The diameter of the holes is 5 mm.

5. 

Connect the components in the following order:

 

1.  Connect the battery

 

 

 Note: the battery terminal should be installed with a fuse.  
The installation distance should not exceed 50mm.

 

2.  Connect the load

 

3.  Connect the solar panel array

 

4.  he controller is now switched on

 

 Note: if an inverter or other starter current is being connected to the system, please connect it directly to 
the battery. Do not connect the inverter with the load terminal of the controller.

While connecting the components to the controller in the sequence, please pay extra attention to connecting 
the ‘positive’ and ‘negative’ correctly. Don’t insert the fuse or turn on the breaker during the installation.

7. 

Always connect the battery first. This way the controller will be able to recognize the system voltage.

8. 

Install the battery fuse as close to the battery as possible. 

9. 

The distance between the battery fuse and the battery group should be within 150 mm.

10.  This controller is a positive grounding controller. Any positive connection of the solar load or the battery can be 

grounded at the same time, as required.

11.  Before use, the terminals of the controller are in a fixed state. Please loosen the terminals, in order to connect 

the components correctly.

12.  Please do not change the order in which the components should be connected, otherwise it will cause a system 

voltage recognition error.

13.  The length of the cable between the controller and the battery should be as short as possible. A length of 30 

to 100 cm is recommended.

14.  It is strongly advised to connect a fuse at the battery side, 1.5 times the rated current of the controller. If a 

terminal short circuits, it could cause a fire or an explosion. Please be extra careful to avoid short circuiting.

15.  If the battery gets a reverse connection, the output of the controller will get the same polarity as the battery. If 

this occurs, please do not connect any load to the controller, or the load and the controller will be damaged.

16.  When the solar panel is in sunlight, its voltage is very high. High voltage can cause injury or destroy the controller. 

Make sure PVmax is under the required safety MPP range.

17.  Before connecting the load to the controller, please turn off the output of the controller (using the button) first, 

to avoid injury from the load voltage. The controller does not offer reverse connection protection for load. 
Reverse connection concerning load will destroy the load, so please be careful when connecting.
