hardwired for the Pro LINE level +4dB signal strength and is not affected by the setting of the Front Panel D.I. LEVEL Control.

And last but definitely not least, we’ve included one of the best features of all on the CABCLONE... the HEADPHONES Output.  This jack allows you to
enjoy the sonic shaping and great feel of the CABCLONE’s DIRECT BALANCED OUT through a set of quality headphones for personal entertainment
with your favorite amplifier.  At last you can play through your tube amp (big or little) “silently” late at night when the rest of the world is asleep and still
have that beautiful Tube Tone and a bouncy feel.  Add some Delay and Reverb in your amp’s Loop and you’ll be lost in a world of fat, rich, expressive
guitar-bliss for hours.

Whether for silent Direct Recording, another non-live feed to the console for later blending when you’re using cabs and mics or just personal enjoyment
of your favorite amp with headphones, the CABCLONE is a great sounding and feeling tool for any guitarist needing to capture great amp sounds
quickly and easily.

FRONT PANEL

  D.I. LEVEL

This rotary center-detent pot determines the output signal level and provides a wide range of level strength options at the Rear Panel

XLR BALANCED DIRECT OUT.

All the way left (7:00) produces the lowest signal MIC LEVEL, which is similar in strength to what many popular cardioid microphones generate. At this
setting you should not have to use the Console’s “pad” and be at “similar” Input Trim settings as you would when you mic up your cabinet.   At the MIC
LEVEL setting the signal will be approximately -30dB down from what your amp is producing at its Speaker Output.  Since that signal level can vary
depending on the volume (MASTER) setting of the amplifier you’re using, you will want to start with the Console’s Fader off and bring it up slowly to
the appropriate setting.

The (12:00 Noon) center-detent position produces an INSTRUMENT LINE LEVEL output signal that is approximately -10dB in strength.  This range is optimum for
many “home level” studio applications and provides room for adjustment in either direction of the detent to provide for a wide range of requirements.

All the way right on the D.I. LEVEL control delivers a PRO LINE LEVEL signal and produces an industry st4dB in signal strength.  This upper
range provides enough level to feed PRO level Consoles, Microphone Preamplifiers (Mic Pre’s) and even a direct feed to A/D Converters when bypass-
ing Consoles or Preamps are the order of the day.  This allows the Engineer to use the least possible coloration in the signal path when capturing the
amplifier’s sound direct.
