Turbocharger
Ensure that troubles are not due to engine components, especially to injection system,
before troubleshooting turbocharger and/or carrying out corrective action on turbocharger.
Cause

1. Smoke from exhaust

air or fuel escape into exhaust or intake
system
3. Unusual noises and vibrations at
turbocharger

B. Rubbing of compressor or turbine
